Application Process

1. Submit Application

• • Application can be submitted either in hard copy or online. Please download the form or click the “Online Application” button and follow the instructions.

2. Application Review

• • Membership Committee will confirm the following:-
    • Correct amount of application fee & assessment fee (for Corporate & Fellow Only) have been collected;
    • The academic qualifications, professional qualifications, working experiences & Continuous Professional Development records (for Corporate & Fellow Only) meet the requirements for the associated class of membership;
    • The competency assessment form (for Corporate & Fellow Only) has been submitted;

3. Professional Interview (for Corporate & Fellow Only)

• • Membership Committee will schedule interview by either face to face or online.
  • The interview panel will consist of 2 assessors appointed by the Society.

4. Application Approval

• • Membership Committee will recommend the class of membership of Applicant in Executive Committee meeting every 2 months.
  • Applicant will be notified of the result in written within 6 months after application.

5. Membership Certificate and Card

• • Applicant will be requested to pay the subscription fee after approval if applicable.
  • Membership certificate and card will be posted to new member after successful subscription fee payment.

Note 1: For membership upgrade, the subscription fee is a difference between current and new membership class.
